Vicky is an extraordinary girl with a remarkable sense of smell. Withdrawn into her own world, she recreates familiar scents and preserves them in carefully labeled jars. In secret, she has also captured the scent of her mother, whom she loves more than anything. But then Julia, her father’s sister, enters her life and challenges her for the place at her mother’s side. When Vicky tries to capture her aunt’s scent as well, she falls under a magical spell – and is drawn into the dark secrets of Julia’s past.

Léa Mysius first gained recognition as a screenwriter. «Les Cinq Diables» is her second feature film as a director and premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. A moving story full of strangely beautiful moments and enchanting magic.
