Cloistered in a Saigon hotel room, young Captain Willard (Martin Sheen), unshaven and drunk, is roused from his prostration by a summons from the American General Staff. General Corman entrusts him with a mission that must remain secret: to eliminate Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando), a military officer with somewhat expedient methods who is rampaging across the Cambodian border.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of "Apocalypse Now", Francis Ford Coppola is dedicating a never-before-seen version of his cult film to fans, restored by himself and his team.
