Johanne falls in love for the first time, with her teacher. She records her intense fantasies and feelings in writing so as not to forget them. When her mother and grandmother read the texts, they are initially shocked by the intimate content, but soon recognise the literary potential. As they debate whether to publish it, all three women are confronted with their own unfulfilled dreams and longings.
