The Friends - Jardin d'été

During the summer holidays, a reclusive old man sparks the curiosity of three schoolboys. Increasingly often, they sneak into his overgrown garden to watch him – also driven by a morbid fascination to learn about his possibly impending death. When the old man discovers them, a confrontation ensues, but soon mutual skepticism gives way to an unexpected friendship.

This bittersweet drama once again demonstrates Sômai’s unique ability to tell the world from a child’s perspective, and it is now available in a newly restored version.
