Mara, a successful lawyer and single mother from Belgrade, is torn from her life by the sudden death of her 20-year-old son. She throws herself into her work, leaving no space for her emotions. Only her encounter with the fitness trainer Milan, a close friend of her son, allows her to slowly open up. Through her relationship with Milan, Mara comes to know her son in a new way – and finds a path toward grief, healing, and a return to life.

In numerous film productions, including the Golden Bear-winning «Grbavica» by Jasmila Žbanić, she has demonstrated her remarkable strength as a character actress.
