The orphaned girl Félicie has one great passion: dancing. Together with her best friend Victor, who dreams of becoming a famous inventor one day, she devises an adventurous escape plan from their bleak orphanage. Their destination is Paris – the City of Light and home to the Eiffel Tower, still under construction. Once in Paris, Félicie must prove herself like never before and comes to realise that talent alone is not always enough. Determined to fulfil her greatest dream of becoming a dancer at the Paris Opera, she assumes a false identity and enrols at a prestigious dance school, posing as a girl from a wealthy family. But how long can she keep her true origins a secret?
