Dossier 137

Stéphanie, an officer in the Internal Affairs department, is assigned to Case 137, in which a young man was seriously injured by a rubber bullet during a Yellow Vest protest in Paris, sustaining permanent damage. Although she initially finds no evidence of unlawful police violence, the investigation takes a personal turn when she discovers that the victim comes from her hometown. With steadfast determination, and despite the resistance of her colleagues, she is determined to reconstruct the events and hold those responsible accountable.

«Dossier 137» premiered at the Cannes International Film Festival. The film is inspired by several real incidents from the early Yellow Vest protests in which people were injured. Léa Drucker delivers a compelling performance in the lead role, portraying the internal tensions between professional ethics, sense of justice, and personal doubts.
