The two young missionaries, Sister Barnes and Sister Paxton, go door to door spreading the teachings of the Mormon faith. When they knock on Mr. Reed's door, he initially appears unusually interested and invites them inside for a conversation. But it soon becomes clear that something sinister lurks beneath his courteous façade. Trapped within the labyrinth of his house, the two women find themselves caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
With «Heretic», Scott Beck and Bryan Woods blend psychological thriller and horror into a gripping and deeply unsettling chamber piece. As the young missionaries fight for survival, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East deliver compelling performances, while Hugh Grant shines in a strikingly sinister role as their manipulative and menacing adversary.
