L'attachement

Sandra, a single bookseller in her fifties, leads an independent life. When the couple in the neighbouring apartment has to go to hospital for the birth of their child, she reluctantly agrees to look after their young son Elliott. But complications arise during the birth, and the mother dies. In the aftermath, Sandra becomes an important figure not only in Elliott’s life, but also for the widowed father and the newborn baby. A deep bond develops between them, profoundly changing their understanding of what family means.
