As long as Arami can remember, her mother has suffered from epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. She had to take care of her from childhood, only ten years ago Arami managed to cut her cord. She now lives in Switzerland with her boyfriend Patrick. Her mother still lives in Asunción. The untrained nurse Julia takes care of her every day. But her mother's illnesses progress and finally Arami is forced to return to Paraguay. The question of further care now becomes an existential question for everyone involved: Does Arami have to give up her life and her career as a filmmaker in Switzerland to take care of her mother?
