Vittoria, 10 years old, lives with her mother in Sardinia. The two share a symbiotic relationship, but then Vittoria meets Angelica, a wild and disoriented young woman. Attracted to this strange woman, Vittoria spends more and more time with her behind her mother's back until she finally learns the truth: Angelica is her biological mother.
