The 79-year-old Spanish woman María Ángeles lives alone in Tangier in northern Morocco, where she enjoys the rhythm of daily life in her city. Her life is turned upside down when her daughter Clara arrives from Madrid to sell the apartment in which María has always lived. Determined to remain in the city of her childhood, María does everything she can to save her home and her belongings – and unexpectedly rediscovers love and sensuality along the way.
